Patel is the President and Chief
Executive Officer of New England
Office Supply.
Under the leadership and
guidance of Ms. Patel, New England Office Supply
has grown from a 1 million
dollar company in 1993 to
a 35 million regional
competitor with national reach.
Ms. Patel is a member
of the TriMega, Inc. Board
of Directors and is TriMega’s
representative on its global
board, BPGI. Other career
highlights include being the
Presidential Delegate at the White
House Conference for Small
Business in 1995, hosting the
Delegation of Fortune 1000
Indian Businesses and being
named to the Working Woman magazine’s Top
500 women-owned companies
for the year 2000.
Ms. Patel graduated
from Sophia College, Bombay.
She earned her MBA
from Simmons College in 1983.
Dennis McCarthy, V.P.
Operations
Dennis McCarthy
is the Vice President of
Operations at New England Office
Supply.
With over 22 years of
experience in the Office Supply
Industry, Mr. McCarthy oversees all
sales, purchasing, marketing, warehouse
and delivery activity.
Mr. McCarthy
played an instrumental role in
managing the acquisition and
merger of three companies to
form NEOS in 1993, as well as
the acquisitions of several
additional companies since that
time.
Mr. McCarthy is credited for increasing the operational efficiencies to
handle the rapid growth of sales
the company has seen over the
past 10 years. Mr. McCarthy
also oversees all major
supply and furniture contracts
with the Commonwealth of
Massachusetts.
Previously,
Mr. McCarthy served as General
Manager at BPU where he oversaw
all facets of the business and
managed the purchase and
implementation of inventory
control, purchasing, order
entry, distribution and
financial systems.
Russ
Sorel, Controller
Russ
Sorel brings over 22 years of
financial expertise to New
England Office Supply.
In addition to providing
all monthly financial reporting,
Mr. Sorel oversees all daily
financial and administrative
operations.
Prior to joining NEOS in
2001, Mr. Sorel was the Manager ASO
Accounting/Credit Collections
and Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare.
Mr.
Sorel
graduated from Bryant College,
Smithfield RI with a BS in
Business Administration.
Ted
Kelley, Director of Sales
Ted Kelley is New England Office Supply’s Director of
Sales.
With 11 years previous experience
in the highly competitive
telecomm industry, Mr. Kelley
has a well-established history
of increasing business volume,
building effective sales teams
and strengthening customer
relationships.
He is responsible for
managing and growing the entire
NEOS Sales Team.
Prior to joining NEOS, Mr. Kelley was at Network Plus from
1991-2002, a network-based communications provider of broadband
data, telecommunications, and
data hosting services, where he started
as an account representative.
Most recently, he was the
Northeast Regional Director
managing a sales force of 80
people.
Mr. Kelley graduated from
Worcester State College with a
BS in Business Administration.
Peter
Tracy, Operations Manager
Peter
Tracy is New England Office
Supply’s Operations Manager.
As a seasoned inventory
control and distribution veteran
boasting 15 years experience,
Mr. Tracy’s responsibility is to
manage the receipt, storage,
order fulfillment and delivery
for NEOS’ 25,000 square foot
distribution center in
Braintree.
Mr. Tracy’s experience in
rapid growth environments will
help NEOS control costs while
maintaining high service levels
for customers.
Previously,
Mr. Tracy worked at Boise Office
Solutions, a premier
multinational distributor of
office and technology products,
office furniture and paper.
Mr.
Tracy holds a BS in
Business Management from
Franklin Pierce College.
Shawn
Ahearn, Information Technology
Manager
Shawn
Ahearn is responsible for driving
the overall technology direction
and system architecture
evolution at New England Office
Supply.
Mr. Ahearn is also in charge
of the design, implementation
and management of the
company’s internal networks
and e-commerce systems.
Prior
to joining NEOS, Mr. Ahearn provided
hosting operations for
Forthchannel, a
business-to-business e-commerce
software solutions company in
Columbus, Ohio.
Before that, he designed
and implemented infrastructure
advancements and cutting edge
e-commerce solutions for Osram
Sylvania, Inc., a subsidiary of
Siemens GMBH.
Mr.
Ahearn
graduated from Bentley College
with a BS in Computer
Information Systems.
